Title:	Quality Assurance Engineer

We are in search of a QA Engineer interested in testing software in a fast-paced environment.

Specific duties include:

• Maintain test plans and manual test cases
• Document new manual test plans and test cases as new products are developed and tested 
• Execute manual test cases
• Test web-based applications and client-server applications
• Assist with regression testing
• Perform software setup and configuration
• Log detailed bug reports and work directly with Developers to troubleshoot bugs, when necessary
• Mentor and assist junior team members

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and work independently on mission-critical tasks.  The candidate must have at a minimum 3-5 years of QA experience and must also possess the following qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Experience testing on Windows platforms
• Experience testing web-based applications
• Knowledge of Unix a plus
• Familiarity with Internet Explorer and Fire fox browsers
• Experience using bug reporting tools
• Ability to excel as an individual contributor as well as function within a strong team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytic skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work independently and take on new tasks
• Familiarity web-based testing tools a plus
• CS Major/Minor, or equivalent experience
